The Victorian Additional Papers collections [reference VIC/ADD] contain Victorian and Edwardian material not transferred to the Royal Archives as part of the Victorian Main Papers collection [VIC/MAIN]. The Additional Papers collections are arranged into groups with a letter designation [A-X] and contain official records of the Sovereign acting as Head of State, in addition to the personal and family papers of Sovereigns, other members of the Royal Family and individuals working for the Royal Household and Royal Family in various roles. There are also two groups of copies made from papers held in the Royal Archives [VIC/ADD/U] and elsewhere [VIC/ADD/V].
