DescriptionDebits and credits of Field Marshal Prince Albert, in account with Sir John Kirkland. Debits include pay to Prince Albert as Colonel of the 11th Hussars and Colonel of the Scots Fusilier Guards as well as clothing accounts. Credits include subscriptions to guards clubs, contributions to charitable and gratuity funds, and payments to various individuals and institutions with reference to Mr Anson and Lieutenant Colonel Phipps. Most credits are initialled by Prince Albert. Penultimate page contains note, dated 15 April 1850, that refers to a bank book.
