Description
Queen Victoria writes concerning Lords in Waiting, and has in mind the 'No Popery' cry in England. She has otherwise no objection to Lord Camoys. Queen Victoria explains why equipages were withheld from Ibrahim Pacha. Queen Victoria approves [pensions for Mr Wilberforce, founder of infant schools and Father Mathew, for Temperance work in Ireland], but has doubts about the Crown patronising temperance work.
