Description
Letter from Sir Robert Peel to Prince Albert advising that Prince Albert he inform the heads of the Royal Household departments that an enquiry will be made. He also reports that the Board of Trade had received no information regarding a proposed railroad from Slough to Windsor. He mentions that 'it does not appear to be polite to encourage a railway between Slough and Windsor' and advises the Prince to 'remain entirely passive'.
