Description
Memorandum by Prince Albert describing the changes to be made within the services of her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness. He reports that George Anson will remain the Prince's Treasurer while taking on the role of Keeper of the Queen's Privy Purse, and Colonel Phipps will be appointed as the Prince's Private Secretary. This he explains is to create a 'unity of purpose in the private affairs of the Queen and Prince' and further describes how these duties will be divided between Anson and Phipps.
