Description
Mr Wilkie thanks Sir Robert Peel for his note that accompanied the letters of his late brother, Sir David Wilkie and assures him of the utmost discretion in the proposed memoirs of Sir David. Mr Wilkie writes that he is gratified that Queen Victoria and Prince Albert were interested in his brother's last works and states that he will carry a selection to Buckingham Palace at a convenient time.
