DescriptionLord Aberdeen encloses a letter (not present) from M. Guizot and expresses his relief at its contents. He states that Mr Drummond Hay's reports are confusing despite his confidence in his own success. Lord Aberdeen also mentions that he has spoken to M. [Sylvain] Van de Weyer and that therefore any further communication from King Leopold [of the Belgians] will be unnecessary.
