Description
Includes the Princess Royal expressing her excitement at visiting her parents at their home. She also details her conversation with Elisabeth of Hesse regarding her son, Louis' [Prince of Hesse] love for Princess Alice. Elisabeth had said that she thought Louis was too young to marry at 22. The Princess Royal writes about Elisabeth of Hesse's family and Fritz [Prince Frederick of Prussia] being envious of their happy family. She also refers to Charles of Hesse and asks her father whether Princess Alice would likely give preference to [Prince] William of Baden.
