She also refers to a letter written by Sir Benjamin Brodie to Sir James [Clark] regarding her son's arm, but she writes that [Dr] Wegner's opinion is 'not very favourable'. She also expresses her belief that when her son is five years old, 'electricity may do some good'. The Princess Royal also gives an update on Frederick William IV of Prussia's health.
